Not every day does such an amazing lineup come through to visit the farmlands of Horseheads NY, but last night was an exception!
First up Burden the Sky took the stage and in the process took over the stage and venue. Not often do you get an opener that takes the crowd by storm like they are the headliner. They mix metal with alternative sounds that leave the crowd wanting more! If you get a chance to see them perform live, secure the tickets asap! you won’t regret it!
Next comes Bastardane.. Wow this trio hits hard, with distinct sounds that bring a punk and metal mixture that you’ve never heard anything like it. The drummer (Castor Hetfield) being the son of James Hetfield of Metallica, the Apple definitely doesn’t fall far from the tree! Just like Burden the Sky, if you get a chance do not miss seeing Bastardane!
Now for the 1-2 punch knockout.
Nonpoint….. What Can be said about Nonpoint that hasn’t already been said? They bring the energy every time they play! Like it’s the first tour they’ve been on! Singer Elias brings and gives everything he has every show and last night wasn’t any exception. These guys are one of my favorite artists to shoot photos of and to just see perform!
And now Sevendust for the Knockout. These guys are so consistent every time they play.
This tour is a play through of one of their greatest albums, Animosity. From start to finish, the play through was like listening to the album back in 2001.
22 years later and they still bring so much emotion when playing songs from this album. Shows how much it means to them. its crazy to me that the album is still relevant this day and the crowd loved every minute of it!
