GRUB: Grub is an Experimental Rock group based out of Buffalo/Niagara, fusing Psychedelic overtones with fuzz and electronics pleasing to one’s ears.
Part of ticket sales and raffle sales will all go to benefit Evegreen Health Service’s Harm Reduction Center.
Evergreen Health Services provides health services to people who use drugs whether they want to start the road to recovery and find sobriety or just regain some control. There is still a heavy stigma against people who use drugs and with that comes lack of funding for harm reduction services.
The Psychedelic Society of WNY seeks to advocate for harm reduction in the festival setting and community. We have provided harm reduction local festivals and raves and there are many more people that share our vision of harm reduction. Harm reduction is more than just a service, it is an attitude that understands that humans take part in dangerous activities. We must accept that and seek to reduce the harm that comes alongside drug use, just like we would avoid a sunburn by using sunscreen.
