The I Prevail show at Rapids theater on Friday 7.12.19 proved once again just how great this band is and how amazing they are to see live.
The enthusiasm, the interaction with the sold out crowd, the feeling of their passion coming through their live performance is something hard to ignore and finding yourself never wanting to leave. Their mix of soft vocals, strong screams and clear cut vocals is the perfect combination on top of the heavier break downs and sounds their newest album presents. They started with Bow Down a single off their newest album Trauma with a progressive metal sound, then brought us back to 2016 with Scars and came back to the new with Rise Above It and Justin Stone joined on stage for his collaboration. From beginning to end rom the heart filled performance to the energy from the crowd who was fully enthralled the whole show the it always felt high level and luring.
Whether a long time fan or just learning who theses guys are, I Prevail is a talent pool of musicians that leave you wanting to bear witness to more. I encourage all to go check out their video Hurricane on YouTube it provides a truly transparent look into theses guys history and hardships a very admirable story, video and group of guys. Looking forward to seeing them continue to grow in the music scene.
