311 released Voyager today, which marks the band’s 13th studio album. Fans can stream the effort here. The albumfeatures 13 new songs, four which were recorded with Grammy-nominated producer John Feldmann (Blink-182, Panic! At the Disco) and nine that were recorded with Scotch Ralston, who produced 311’s previous albums Transistor, Soundsystem and Stereolithic.
Back in April, the group released two songs from the new album; “Good Feeling” and “Don’t You Worry.” Vocalist Nick Hexum says “Good Feeling” is “an antidote to all the fear, anger and division so prevalent in society today” and he calls the song “a three-minute party jam meant to feel like a vacation.” “Don’t You Worry” is “a song validating personal connection and leaning on one another to turn things for the better.”
311 are out on the road this summer on a co-headlining tour with Dirty Heads. Both bands have partnered up with the Plus1 organization so that $1 from every ticket sold goes to community organizations in need.
